Friends and family filled the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center Nov.17 to support Viki Dee and to raise funds for her to start her life over. Dee lost everything, including her family of pets, in a fire Oct. 20.
More than 700 people attended the benefit concert where local musicians donated their time to entertain the crowds. A silent auction was organized by Kathy Davison with hundreds of donated goods, as well as a live auction hosted by Susan Morisette.
Many local businesses donated food, signs, tickets and time. The volunteer bartenders also donated their tips.
WSFS has an ongoing donation collection for Viki Dee.
