Bejeweled bookmarks made by a local artist, and locally made soap, as well as greeting cards, were on sale.
The Friends of Lewes Public Library hosted a festive holiday sale Dec. 2. Items available were a variety of new children’s books, bejeweled bookmarks made by a local artist, tote bags, Lewes ball caps, greeting cards, the Cooking with Friends cookbook, and holiday greeting cards.
During the event, children met a “real” mermaid - author Nancy Sakaduski, who was on hand to sign her book “The Mermaid in Rehoboth Bay.” Refreshments were served.
