Gary Wayne Swartz, proud veteran

Gary Wayne Swartz, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, after a strong fight battling lung cancer.

He was born June 26, 1944, in Newark, N.J., son of the late Wesley and Angelie (Monaco) Swartz. He was also predeceased by a brother, Charles.

Mr. Swartz proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 28.

Surviving are his wife Dianne; daughter Justine; a sister, Jill; and cousins Dycie, Susan, Maxine and Denise. We will all miss his laughter and hugs.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
