Gay is right person for Rehoboth commissioner

July 21, 2017

We are writing to express our support for Susan Gay, who is running for commissioner of Rehoboth Beach. We have known and worked with Susan on several city issues for the past year.

Susan is a strong, independent leader as well as an independent thinker. Significantly, Susan is able to take complex problems and provide coherent practical solutions. As a result, Susan will add an independent problem-solving voice to the city government as a commissioner.

In addition to being an independent thinker, Susan has all of the other qualities needed in a city commissioner: she is smart, knowledgeable, personable, a team member, and committed to the quality of life in Rehoboth as confirmed by her membership in seven boards that serve Rehoboth or Sussex County.

Moreover, in her prior professional life, she has managed multiple-million dollar budgets and served in various leadership roles. This is exactly what Rehoboth needs in a commissioner.

We would urge all Rehoboth residents to vote for Susan Aug. 12.
