Gene W. Taylor, Megee Plumbing employee

Gene W. Taylor of Georgetown passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Fairfax County, Va., March 14, 1948. 


Gene was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was employed at Megee Plumbing and Heating. He loved his job and his co-workers.


In addition to his mother, Ann Wiltsey, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Taylor; and a daughter, Shari Marie who died at birth. 
Gene is survived by his sons, Scott (Christine) and Chris (Christina); grandchildren, Cori (Logan), Jake and Kaylee; brother Eddie Brouillette; many friends, and best friend Ed Davis; and his dog, Bella.



A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after noon. 
Burial services will be private.
