Genealogical society to discuss Mason-Dixon Line Feb. 18

February 14, 2017

The Sussex County Genealogical Society will have its next meeting from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at the new Lewes library. Mike Dixon will discuss why and how the Mason-Dixon Line was established and the controversy it caused in America. As always, the general public is welcome. The organization is dedicated to promoting genealogy and education to encourage and instruct in genealogical research. The scope of interests reaches far beyond Sussex County,  and the society concentrates on providing good and useful information to those researching their ancestry.
