Georgetown Flower Shop cuts ribbon

Georgetown Plant, Flower and Garden Shop, located at 608 East Market St., cut a grand opening ribbon Oct. 19,  in a ceremony sponsored by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Georgetown Plant, Flower and Garden Shop is a full service flower shop with a goal of providing thoughtful, beautiful, professional florist services to the residents of southern Delaware.

“We are new and we are proud of that! What it means to be ‘new’ is that there is a chance to invent, a chance to do things differently, a chance to exceed your expectations. However, we would be foolish to think that we could do all that without a team of professional, experienced floral designers, and we are proud to have such a team.  We are creating our business to provide individualized service, education about the floral industry, and a commitment to quality in all that we do.  Everyday, we are working to improve and to maintain the goal that we have set for ourselves as a company and as individuals,” said owner Diane Stief on the website.
