This is a long-overdue thanks to the Greater Lewes Community Village. The volunteers are a great asset to the Lewes seniors or to anyone needing help.
They have carted me to and from the Milton CHEER Center for bridge every week, to medical appointments, Walmart shopping, and wherever I need to be. In fact, the gentleman driving me to Walmart comes in so I won't be alone.
They not only drive, but listen to our complaints, successes, and just plain conversation. As a senior citizen living alone and using a walker, the volunteers are truly a blessing.
