Greene Turtle supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 8, 2017

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille announced the launch of its Pink is the New Greene campaign, in partnership with the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Through Tuesday, Oct. 31, guests may sip a glass of bright, crisp Dark Horse Rosé wine and order The Greene Turtle's signature Buffalo Chicken Nachos or Chili Nachos, which will feature special pink chips for the month of October. Proceeds from these food and drink purchases, as well as sales of all Greene Turtle wearable gear, will support the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

"We are excited to partner with the American Breast Cancer Foundation to turn The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille pink during the month of October," said Layla Nielsen, senior director of marketing at The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille. "Our Pink is the New Greene campaign is a wonderful opportunity for employees and guests to join together to help the many women affected by breast cancer by raising money for awareness, education, and early detection support."

The Greene Turtle is partnering with the Columbia, Md.-based American Breast Cancer Foundation, a national charity which partners with medical clinics across the nation to provide uninsured and underserved individuals with educational resources, access and financial assistance to aid in early detection, treatment and survival of breast cancer. ABCF has served more than 31,000 clients in all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and Guam through financial assistance and education.

"This campaign is an incredible opportunity for positive change," said Jacky Loube, CEO of American Breast Cancer Foundation. "With the help of The Greene Turtle, we can extend our reach. We will be able to cover the cost of early detection services for those in need as a direct result of this partnership."
