Griswold Home Care thanks Striper Bites

May 29, 2017

Recently, Griswold Home Care celebrated the beginning of our home care service, observing 35 years of operation, when Jean Griswold started helping people remain safely in their homes. Thanks to Matt DiSabatino and the wonderful staff at Striper Bites for helping us celebrate and donating a portion of the proceeds for the day to the Jean Griswold Foundation.

This foundation, sponsored by Griswold Home Care and all of its offices, provides grants to nonprofits in the community who share the mission of helping older adults age in place. And thank you to our community who came and dined at Striper Bites, helping us raise money for the foundation. In total, including the office match, several individual donations and the generous proceeds that Striper Bites contributed, we raised more than $2,000. The food was delicious, the spirit engaging and the evening was a wonderful success. Thank you to all who participated.
