Habitat holds Rock the Block community cleanup
Early in the Rock the Block event, a group of Community Engagement Scholars from UD had a large pile of yard waste ready for pickup.

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity, the Sussex County Housing Alliance and Housing Alliance Delaware held a Rock the Block Neighborhood Revitalization Aug. 26 in the Mount Joy Community near Millsboro. Light yardwork, power washing and general cleanups were completed by volunteers and about 36 University of Delaware incoming freshmen in the Community Engagement Scholars Program.
SCHFH Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator Audrey Miller said that the simple exterior work performed by the volunteers makes a positive impact on the community.
