Halloween party set at Bethany Blues of Lewes Oct. 29

Bethany Blues of Lewes is throwing a Halloween party Saturday, Oct. 29. Drink specials begin at 4 p.m. and they are inviting all local area guys and ghouls to come out and participate in a festive evening, complete with costume contest. This year’s theme is Superheroes versus Villains, and patrons are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero or villain and compete to win some cold, hard cash and gift cards.

The evening features Nate Myers beginning at 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. on the Bethany Blues stage, and the local ambiance guests have come to expect from their favorite watering hole. During the Myers’ set break, judging for the costume contest will take place. First prize is $100 cash and $100 in gift cards. Second prize is $50 cash and $50 in gift cards. Gift cards may not be used the evening of the event.

In addition to the contest, there will be $3 Bud Light pints and $3 Jim Beam Fire shots. Manager Strohm Edwards will also be brewing up some special Halloween-themed drinks. For more information, go to www.bethanyblues.com
