Healthier Sussex County Task Force receives award

Sussex County Health Coalition, in partnership with the Delaware Center for Health Innovation, honored the members of the Healthier Sussex County Task Force with the 2017 Sussex County Health Innovation Award. With this inaugural award, the coalition honored the achievements of Beebe Healthcare, Nanticoke Health Systems, Bayhealth-Milford and La Red Health Center.

Representatives from the Healthier Sussex County Task Force who were on hand to accept their award included Terry M. Murphy, FACHE, president and chief executive officer of Bayhealth; Jeffrey M. Fried, FACHE, president and chief executive officer of Beebe Healthcare; Steven A. Rose, RN, MN , president and chief executive officer of Nanticoke Health Services; and Rosa Rivera, chief operations officer, accepting on behalf of Brian S. Olson, chief executive officer, La Red Health Center.

The Sussex County Health Coalition also recognized Beth Freeh, one of its founding board members, for her 10 years of service.
