Hilda Mumford Calhoun, Democratic Party supporter
Hilda Mumford Calhoun, 91, of Millsboro went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. Hilda was born Nov. 3, 1926, to the late Clifton and Martha Mumford.
Hilda, a retiree of Arrow Safety with 44 years of service, was also a member of Hickory Hill United Methodist Church, and a faithful supporter and volunteer of the Democratic Party.
In addition to her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Wesley Calhoun[ brothers Lloyd and Harry Mumford; and a nephew, Clifton Mumford.
Hilda is survived by her nephew Steve Mumford and his wife Karen; as well as great-nieces and -nephews, Teresa, Todd (Danette), and Jon (Jessica) Mumford and Katrina Mears (Allen), Nicki Steen (Andrew) and their families.
A Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 8, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro. Burial will be private.
