Library event features music, food, dancing

Gerarrdo Plasensia is geared up to perform a dance of social justice during the Hispanic heritage month event at the Milton library.
It was a colorful display as Chinelos from New Castle invited the crowd to dance.
Milton Public Library was filled with music, food, dancing and community spirit Oct. 14 for a Hispanic heritage month event organized by Delaware Hispanic Commission and Friends of the Milton Public Library.
The event, sponsored by the Arsht-Cannon Fund, invited families to learn more about their Hispanic neighbors while sharing community resources and other activities.
