Humane educator visits Delmarva Christian summer campers

September 6, 2017

Thirty-year humane educator Scott Vogel has been coming to Delmarva Christian Milton Campus since 2001 to educate students on kindness, justice and respect for all life. Vogel was previously the director of animal education for the Delaware SPCA. Each one of Vogel's lessons caters to the ages of the group he is teaching. The DCMC minnow summer campers were able to enjoy his program called Our Animal Friends which emphasizes the difference between domestic and wild animals.

Campers shown with Scott Vogel are in back (l-r) Britt Thompson, Mason Fountain, Savannah Connolly, Lydia Hudson, Mason Conran, Ellie Walls, Paige Nicholson and Quinn Nicholson. In front are Ian Campbell, Ian Prall, Becca Plump, Chloe Tremblay, Isabella Fitzgerald and Cora Scott.
