Ice cream shop donates over $200 to local breast cancer programs

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition announced a successful partnership with Beaches N Cream Ice Cream of Millsboro. Through the sale of ice cream and generous donation of personal tips from staff from noon to 4 p.m. July 16, the shop raised $233 to benefit the local programs and services of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. 

Beaches N Cream Ice Cream of Millsboro is owned by Allie and Bob Leasher. Allie is a childhood cancer survivor. They do a fundraiser each month to support a different charity.

All proceeds will benefit DBCC’s programs which increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to women and men in the local community who are newly diagnosed or facing a recurrence of breast cancer.
