James C. Walton Sr., hardworking man

James Christian Walton Sr., 53, also known as "Johnny Walton,” of Seaford, passed away at his home Friday, April 21, 2017.

Johnny was born in Augsburg, Germany Dec. 5,1963, to the late James (Jimmy) Clarence Walton and his surviving mother Annelies Eules.

Johnny had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. He was a hardworking man, who worked no matter how bad he felt! His family was his whole life and he loved them to the fullest!

Johnny was enlisted in the Army for four years. He returned home and furthered his career in construction. He became well known for his ability and knowledge in this field. He had been working in this field for 29 years. He was currently employed at David G. Horsey and Son.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Wanda Walton; three children, James (Monkey) Walton Jr., Meggan Walton and Jacob Walton, all of Seaford; a son by his first marriage, James Tyler Walton of Florida; stepmother Brenda Walton of Delmar; brother Richie Walton of Delmar; sister Marianne Walton (Rich) Mitchell of Delmar, sister Melissa (Missy) Graham of Alabama, brother Ricky Walton of Delmar, sister Angela Sims of Delmar, brother Michael Walton (Amy) of Seaford; a granddaughter Miariah Walton and her mom Jessica Peterson of Seaford; numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins that he loved and cherished dearly. There are a few nieces and a nephew that he helped raise, Crissy Andrews, Angel Lauer, Margaret Faircloth and Woody Faircloth, whom he loved as his own.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 29, at 3 p.m., at Christ Evangelistic Church, 9802 Camp Road, Laurel. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to service.
