Janet B. Davidson, retired bookkeeper

Janet B. Davidson, 84, of Dagsboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.
She was born in Frankford, April 1, 1933, daughter of the late Clifton and Claudia (Lynch) Brasure. Janet was a graduate of John M. Clayton High School and attended the University of Delaware. She was a bookkeeper, and helped support her father's and husband's broiler businesses. Janet was also a member of Frankford United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton A. Davidson; and a daughter, Treva Nan Davidson. She is survived by a son, Gordon Davidson and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Katharine Brooks and her husband Ryan, Matthew Davidson and his wife Megan, and Joshua Davidson; her brother, Neil Brasure and his wife Joyce; and her sister Lois Wingate and her husband George.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m., at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in Dagsboro Redmens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Janet's name to Frankford United Methodist Church, PO Box 37, Frankford, DE 19945.
