Janet Ranker Maull, retired banker
Janet Ranker Maull, 77, of Milton went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018.
She was born Dec. 17, 1940, to Ray and Lovella Ranker, after which she was blessed to move to Lewes, and become the daughter of Victor and Anna Shaffer as a young girl.
Janet graduated from Lewes High School in 1959. After graduation she married Bailey West Maull III, and traveled with him during his military service. After returning to Delaware, Janet began her banking career with the Farmers Bank of Delaware. She then worked at Delaware Trust, and retired after 20 years of service with WSFS. She ended her career with PNC Bank in Rehoboth Beach.
She was a longtime member of Midway Assembly of God in Lewes, and also a member of the Lewes Lions Club.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 57 years, Bailey West Maull III; son Bailey West Maull IV (Randy) and his wife Kimberly; son Mark Lee Maull and his wife Karen; and four grandchildren, Logan, Emilee, Caroline and Chase. She is also survived by her mother, Anna Shaffer; sisters, Suzette, Sharon and Sandra; mother-in-law, Betty Maull Sprenkle; three sisters-in-law, Joanne, Ginny and Tracy; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, at 12:30 p.m., at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963, or Lewes Lions Club, P.O. Box 791, Lewes, DE 19958.
