The Jefferson School hosts Science Saturday

October 13, 2016

Despite rainy weather, The Jefferson School in Georgetown took part in the first of the school’s two Science Saturdays Oct. 1.

Future scientists had a chance to create their own bee box, a type of miniature beehive made by drilling holes in a piece of wood and then attaching a roof. The bee boxes were a display put on by Bill Nelson and students from Salisbury University. Shown are Salisbury student Laura Mrugalski, in gray, helping Abby Bogan make her box. Also shown is Abby’s mother, Ginger Jahn, and her sister, Ellie Jahn. RYAN MAVITY PHOTOS
