Jefferson School students recognized at regional science fair

April 19, 2018

The Jefferson School announced that students Dylan Thomas and Ellis Jack received Honorable Mention recognition at the Delaware Valley Science Fair in Valley Forge, Pa., in early April.

Sixth-grader Ellis Jack’s Totally Tubular was entered in the biochemistry division, and seventh-grader Dylan Thomas’s Reduce, Reuse, Recharge was in the environmental science category.

They are two of the five Jefferson School students who took honors at the Sussex County Science Fair in March.

The Delaware Valley regional fair has more than 900 entries and is a culmination of 13 regional fairs throughout Delaware Valley, including all of Delaware, southern New Jersey and southern Pennsylvania.

The Jefferson School is Sussex County’s only independent, nonsectarian day school serving students from preschool through eighth grade.
