Joe Gallagher Jr. joins rental department at BHHS Gallo Realty

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty announced that Realtor Joseph Gallagher Jr. has joined its Rehoboth Beach rental department.

Gallagher will help vacationers book their dream getaway houses and year-round tenants find their perfect homes. He will also focus on acquiring and listing new vacation and year-round properties.

Michelle Esposito, Rehoboth Beach offfice rental manager, is delighted to have him join her team. "Our team of experienced rental agents, as well as our customers and clients, will benefit from the energy and professionalism that Joseph brings to the office," said Esposito.

The Delaware resorts hold a very special place in Gallagher’s heart. With a father in the National Guard, he spent every summer at the beach and lived in the barracks in Bethany Beach. His childhood days were spent on the beach, and his evenings were filled with fun on the boardwalk and at the barracks with his friends, other military kids. These summertime buddies became lifelong friends.

Gallagher's fond memories finally pulled him back to the beach in 2014, when he and his wife Julie moved to the resort full time.

After 15-plus years in retail sales/customer service, Gallagher obtained his Delaware real estate license in 2007. As a rental associate in the Rehoboth Beach office, Gallagher will draw from his expansive customer-focused background, while his communication and service skills will benefit him in his new position. He truly takes the time to listen to his customers and clients to discover their principal needs and wants. In turn, he uses this information to provide the best and most professional service possible.

Gallagher said, "Because of my special experience at the beach, I truly know how important summer vacations are to everyone; vacation is almost always a lifetime memory in the making! My motto is to treat people the way I would like to be treated: with kindness, professionalism, and knowledgeable attention."

Gallagher and his wife of 15 years reside in Lewes with their two children, ages 21 and 8, and their two dogs. The Gallagher family enjoys bowling, antiquing, watching ice hockey (Go Flyers!), NASCAR and football and, of course, going to the beach.
