Johnson Orthodontics holds drawings to support teachers

November 19, 2017

Johnson Orthodontics announced a contest the company has devised to benefit local teachers. Because so many of their patients have to miss school in order to attend their appointments, the folks at Johnson Orthodontics have placed a fish bowl on the reception desk in their office.

When patients come in for appointments during regular school hours, they can write down the name of the teacher whose class they are missing and drop it in the fish bowl. Several times a year, a name will be drawn, and the winning teacher will receive $200 for their classroom.

The contest is Dr. Jonathan Johnson’s way of saying thanks to all those teachers who understand the importance of regular orthodontic visits and allow their students to miss class. The son of two elementary school teachers, Johnson is committed to supporting local educators and schools.
