Joseph M. Tridente, retired engineer

Joseph M. Tridente, 89, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Molfetta, Italy, son of the late Dominic and Maria (Daiani) Tridente.

Mr. Tridente graduated from Eddystone High School in Eddystone, Pa., Class of 1945. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Tridente worked as an instrument engineer for many years at Sun Oil in Marcus Hook, Pa. In his spare time, he was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and in 2013 he was honored with the Coast Guard Auxiliarist of the Year award.

Mr. Tridente is survived by his wife, Beverly Tridente of Millsboro; his children, Joseph J. Tridente and his wife Kathy of Middletown, and Mary Ann Todd and her husband Raymond Pauwlich of Marlton, N.J.; his grandchildren, Denise Wittmeyer and her husband Kevin, and Joseph J. Tridente Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Christign and Sophia Wittmeyer.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at 11 a.m., at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 20276 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach.
