Josephine LoRicco, enjoyed scuba diving

Josephine LoRicco, 72, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at her late residence. She was born Nov. 6, 1943, in New York, N.Y., to Louis Lanzetti and Sylvia (Urso) Lanzetti formerly of Hazlet, N.J.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her in-laws, Elvera and Harry LoRicco of Toms River, N.J.

Mrs. LoRicco enjoyed ceramics, gardening, fishing and had enjoyed many scuba diving adventures. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and had served as a Eucharistic Minister.

She is survived by her husband Carl; stepson Dino (Regina) of Toms River; stepdaughter Lisa Ledda (James) of Lewisburg, Pa.; stepgrandchildren, Tina Spagnola (Jim) of Bradenton, Fla., Dina Kocak (Matt) of Toms River, Robert LoRicco (Nicole) of Manchester, N.J., Dean Raspatini of Toms River, Courtney Fagari (Stephen) of Middletown, N.J.; 10 great grandchildren; brother Salvatore Lanzetti (Joan) of Ocala, Fla., Louis Lanzetti Jr. (April) of Whiting, N.J., Robert Lanzetti of Whiting; sister Deborah Lindemar (Richard) of Jackson, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m.

A viewing will also be held Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 7 until 9 p.m., at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.

Entombment will be11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 24, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 56-80 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River.
