Kennedy a devoted public servant in Lewes

April 26, 2018

Robert Kennedy is a very dedicated public servant, seeking re-election as a director of the Lewes BPW.

We are fortunate to have Robert and his wife, Jan, as friends and neighbors for the past 14 years. We daresay that no other candidate has either Robert's Lewes pedigree or his continuing experience with public utility issues.

Born and raised in Lewes, he has been a dedicated and respected director of the Lewes BPW since 2016 and a member of the Lewes BPW - Citizens Round Table Group since 2013. For over 20 years Robert served as executive director and senior staff regulatory officer for the Delaware Public Service Commission. As a regulatory officer, Robert was reponsible for seeing that the Delaware Public Utility Law was enforced; that utility applications for changes in rates, rules and financing applications, as well as public policy initiatives were reviewed, with recomendations then made to the Public Service Commissioners.

Robert saw to it that every recommendation balanced the needs of the utility with the needs of the citizen subscibers - us.

We owe it to ourselves and our love of Lewes to keep Robert Kennedy as an experienced and dedicated director of the Lewes BPW.
