Kody O'Bear Community Student Award presented

December 9, 2016

The Kody O'Bear Community Student Award was presented to Hope Craig of Georgetown. She is a student at Sussex Tech High School and a member of the Chamber Ensemble Choir and several other school clubs. Craig has the dream of traveling the country, meeting and making new friends along the way. This award was created and is presented to honor local students who give back to their communities, organizations or programs that support the mission of improving the lives of children or adults in their community.

The Kody O'Bear Community Student Award is a way that the youth can be applauded for their support of the communities they live in or have a passion to help. Without the support of youth, many organizations would not be able to continue their missions. The Kody O'Bear Awards team suggests that everyone thank these youths and support their passion, talents and volunteerism.

The award is presented by Delmarva's Community Bear, Kody O'Bear, who is the ambassador for promoting positive and healthy activities for kids and adults of all ages. For more information, go to www.kodyobear.com.
