Kody O'Bear Community Youth Award presented to Jaxon Renshaw

May 27, 2017

The Kody O'Bear Community Youth Award was recently presented to Jaxon Renshaw of Rehoboth Beach. Renshaw is a student at Beacon Middle School, and he will be attending Cape Henlopen High School this fall. He dreams of becoming a teacher or chef and continuing his journey of helping those who need it most. He has been busy with his passion of working with Boy Scouts, the elderly and local veterans.

This award was created and is presented to honor local students who give back to their communities, organizations or programs that support the mission of improving the lives of area children or adults. The Kody O'Bear Community Youth Award is a way the youth can be applauded for their support of the communities they live in or have a passion to help. Without the support of youth, many organizations would not be able to continue their missions.

The Kody O'Bear Awards team suggests that community members thank these young people and support their passion, talents and volunteerism. The award is presented by Delmarva's Community Bear, Kody O'Bear, who is the ambassador for promoting positive and healthy activities for kids and adults of all ages.
