Learn to Meditate series to start Oct. 2 in Milton

September 25, 2017

A Learn to Meditate series will be offered in Milton to teach attendees everything they need to know about how to start a regular meditation practice at home. Anyone can learn to meditate. The classes are from 6 to 8 p.m., Mondays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16, at The Olive Branch.

In this three-class series, attendees will learn a traditional yoga meditation on a mantra. By the end of the series, attendees should know which technique works best for them and be able to apply it to their home practice.

This series will clear up any misconceptions about what a good meditation is, help attendees with their seated poses and give them all the tools they need to begin meditating regularly at home. Each week, participants will be introduced to a different meditation technique using the mantra and have the opportunity to practice and experience each one during class and at home between sessions.

This series is taught by Rajni (Chelsea) King, E-RYT 500. King has been teaching yoga for 15 years and is a certified Svaroopa Vidya meditation teacher. King will provide tips and details about how to set oneself up for success, cultivate consistency and receive all the benefits of a regular meditation practice. She is excited to share the benefits of meditation. The cost is $80, which covers all three classes and materials.

The Olive Branch is at 14904 Coastal Highway. For more information or to register, contact King at 302-430-1089 or chelsealking@comcast.net.
