Ledogar will represent all constituents

October 27, 2016

We support Leslie Ledogar for Sussex County Council first and foremost as she has no ties to special interest groups. Second, she is a skilled mediator allowing her to find compromise among all sides: farmers needing their well-earned retirement funds, homeowners and workers driving the crowded roads of routes 9, 24 and 1 into and out of the Lewes/Rehoboth hubs. As an environmental lawyer, she has the expertise to utilize and implement existing regulations as well as to show the crucial importance of wetlands and stands of trees in improving water quality and preventing flooding. Two other goals of hers involve far-sighted plans for growth that allow seniors to reside in walkable neighborhoods with nearby amenities and to attract higher-paying jobs for wage earners.

We need the fresh yet experienced leadership of Leslie Ledogar to use her skills to ensure that future growth that allows for the quality of life for all: seniors, wage earners and children riding on our busy roads as well as workers who travel from western Sussex.

Finally, please consider that wise and comprehensive decisions on land use, not party loyalty, should be the deciding factor. Consider a vote for Leslie Ledogar on Election Day for District 3 of the Sussex County Council. She is an independent voice representing all constituencies: she owes no favors to anyone in the county.
