Lefty’s donates to Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation

Lefty's Alley and Eats donated $555 in proceeds from shoe rentals on a Cape snow day to Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation. CHEF Development Director Alyssa Titus says, “We were thrilled to learn of Lefty's snow day donation, and we will utilize these necessary funds for educational programs in our eight schools. We look forward to partnering with this amazing new community-owned business in the future. The generosity of local businesses is what makes CHEF able to operate."

The donation is the first of many, and launches Lefty's community outreach program. Lefty’s Director of Operations Jenny Gooner says, "The local community has enabled Lefty's to experience overwhelming success in our first months open. We know that our continued success relies on our local community. We were thrilled to provide CHEF with the proceeds from shoe rentals on their unexpected snow day."
