Organ recital series continues March 1 at All Saints’

The second annual Lenten Organ Recital Series titled A Journey Through Lent will continue at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, March 1, at All Saints' Church, 18 Olive Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Jackson Borges, organist and director of music for the parish of All Saints' Church and St. George's Chapel, will feature great organ works by towering composers for the instrument each Thursday through March 22. Each recital begins at 12:15 p.m., following the weekly 11:30 a.m. Thursday Healing Service. The recitals last 45 minutes. Borges also includes improvisations on Lenten hymns and themes, as well as historical insight on each piece. A freewill donation, which goes to support the music ministry of All Saints' Church and St. George's Chapel, is always appreciated. Westminster Presbyterian Lenten services to continue March 25

Westminster Presbyterian Church will continue its Lenten Series with a Palm Sunday service at 10 a.m., March 25, and a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m., March 29. The church will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, March 30, for a Good Friday observation with quiet reflections, meditation and music. Two services will be held Easter Sunday, April 1, at 8:30 and 10 a.m. Westminster Presbyterian is at 301 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Call 302-227-2109 for information.
