Leslie C. Shields, survived by many
Miss Leslie C. Shields, 44, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Leslie was born in Cheverly, Md., May 14, 1972, to John Ridley Shields Jr. and Beverly Shields-Mahaffey, who survive her. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Ridley Shields Sr.
She is survived by her parents, John Ridley Shields Jr. and his wife Susan of Crofton, Md. and Beverly Shields-Mahaffey and her husband Dr. Redge Mahaffey of Davidsonville, Md.; two children, Mackenzie C. Daisey of Davidsonville and Logan S. Daisey of Millsboro; their father, Chip Daisey Jr. of Georgetown; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Miller of Florida; maternal grandparents, Janette and Robert West of Columbia, Md.; sister, Sarah Shields and her husband Joseph Dillingham of Ridgewood, N.Y.; aunt and uncle, Roxanne and Benny McMichael of Columbia; stepbrothers, Travis Mahaffey, Ryan Mahaffey and Ramsey Mahaffey; and a stepsister, Morgan Mahaffey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 22, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call after 2 p.m. for visitation. Burial will be private.
