Lewes Canafront Park egg hunt a success

April 19, 2018

What a joy it was to see Lewes Canalfront Park filled with happy children and their families! The 6th annual Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success, with over 600 kids finding over 8,000 eggs filled with treats.

We could not put this event on without the help of our generous sponsors: Pat Breen Tennis, Orthopaedic Associates, Jefferson School, Lewes Builders, Johnson Orthodontics, Kids' Ketch, MOMS Club of Coastal De., Half Full/Striper Bites/Kindle, Inn at Canal Square.

Thank you to Miguel Almine who made 100 balloon creations, and the dedicated face painters, with special thanks to the Cape and Sussex Academy students for their energy and hard work. Our heartfelt thanks also goes to the many volunteers who helped us stuff the eggs and provide a safe, fun environment.

Finally, thank you to all our little egg hunters! You made quick work of finding those eggs and we loved seeing all your smiles. We invite everyone to come to the park on Thursdays all summer for our free concerts and movies in the park.

Canalfront Park thrives on the generosity of our donors and event patrons. We welcome your donations and volunteer support.
