Lewes Historical Society honors volunteers

Happy to volunteer at the historical society are (l-r) Anna Toyna, history storyteller; Rachael Shapiro, living history interpreter; and Russ Allen, Lewes Legends tour guide.
Among the many volunteers are (l-r) Bob Kotowski, wood boat crew; PJ Kotowski, docent; Bonnie Taylor, trustee, docent and collections committee; and Lana Browne, collections committee.
The Lewes Historical Society honored its many volunteers at a luncheon at the former library, now the Lewes History Museum in the Margaret H. Rollins Community Center Oct. 6. The volunteers were recognized and thanked for donating time in several categories, from the wooden boat-builder volunteers to gardening, docents and historical re-enactors.
