Lewes Historical Society to host Tavern Talks immersive experience April 13, 20, 27

The Lewes Historical Society will host Tavern Talks, an immersive tavern experience, at the Ryves Holt House, 218 Mulberry St., Lewes, at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 13, 20 and 27. 

Attendees can step back in time and experience what it might have been like to be a part of the War of Independence and take part in timely debates. Admission is by reservation only.

The 350-year-old Ryves Holt House, the oldest structure in Delaware, will be transformed into Captain Gamble’s Tavern. It will feature living history characters, colonial games and snacks, and Dogfish Head Craft Beer. Seating is limited to 16 people per event time, and reservations are required.
