Lewes city officials are asking residents for help in searching for a lost kayak launch. The small floating dock, which was installed earlier this year, went missing during the recent winter storm and cold temperatures. City Manager Ann Marie Townshend said she hopes it did not float too far and is still somewhere in the canal. Anyone who sees or finds the launch is asked to call city hall at 302-645-7777.
