A decades-old tradition continued April 14 as Lewes Little League kicked off the 2018 season with a parade through town to the canalside ballpark. League President Jim Baker said this year’s 33 teams of 360 boys and girls is the highest enrollment in recent history. The league has T-ball, machine pitch, minor league softball and baseball, and major league softball and baseball teams.
