The Historic Lewes Farmers Market is sponsoring a full-day workshop with farmer and author Ben Hartman from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, at Lewes Public Library.

Hartman will present The Lean Farm: How to Apply the Lean System on Any Farm to Increase Efficiency and Profits With Less Work. They grow and sell specialty produce to restaurants, at a farmers market and through cooperative CSAs.

The workshop cost is $40. Lunch, coffee and refreshments will be provided. Financial assistance is available.
