Lewes meditation group presents weekend with Luisa Montero-Diaz Oct. 7

Insight Meditation Community of Lewes welcomes returning meditation teacher Luisa Montero-Diaz for an evening Dharma talk and a full-day meditation retreat with the theme of "Awake in all Postures: Practicing on the cushion and in daily life." Non, beginning and experienced meditators are all welcomed to attend this weekend of meditation and discussion. 

The Dharma Talk (Buddhist teachings) along with discussion and refreshments will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church Parish Hall Friday, Oct. 7. 

The full-day retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Unitarian Universalist Church. Dharma talk, sitting and walking meditation, and lunch are included. If attendees can and would like to, they may bring a dish to share. 

The suggested donation for Friday's talk is $10 and $45 for the Saturday retreat, which includes lunch. For those with limited income, 50 percent, or any amount of the suggested donation offered is welcome. If budget does not allow for a donation, simply show up; no explanation is needed. 

Saint Peter's Episcopal Parish Hall is located at 211 Mulberry St. near Second Street in Lewes. 
The Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 30486 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Lewes. Chairs are provided, however attendees may bring their favorite floor meditation cushions for the retreat.
