Lewes police searching for car break-in suspects

Lewes police are looking for two men suspected of breaking into cars at the Lewes Dog Park Oct. 3.

The unknown suspects smashed the windows of three cars parked at the dog park, stole purses from inside the vehicles and fled the area unseen, said Lewes Police Department Chief Thomas Spell.

Within an hour of the break-ins, two suspects tried to use the stolen credit cards at the Walmart in Milford.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects' identities is asked to call the Lewes Police Department at 302-645-6264.
