Lewes Public Library thanks supporters

April 12, 2018

The Lewes Public Library has just wrapped up its exciting new fundraiser, 31 Chances To Win. The support of the library's patrons, who bought 545 tickets, made for a successful event netting over $8,500 to help fund the library's many programs and services.

But none of this would have been possible without the tremendous support shown by our contributing local businesses. Please join us in thanking and supporting the businesses who donated gift certificates: Abraxas Studio of Art, Acme Markets, Agave Mexican Restaurant, a(MUSE.), Aquamarine at 114, Atlantic Theaters-Movies at Midway, Baker Petroleum, Beach Jetty, Bests' Ace Hardware & Garden Center, Biblion Used Books & Rare Finds, Big Oyster Brewery, Bling Salon & Spa, Blooming Boutique, Cape Water Tours & Taxi, Crooked Hammock Brewery, Deanna's & Piccolino, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Dogfish Inn, Dairy Queen of Lewes, Edie Bees Confection Shop, Escape Rehoboth, Floral Inspirations, Flowers By Mayumi, Half Full, Highway One Company Restaurants, Honey's Farm Fresh, Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, Jeff West Home, Jewelry Exchange of Delaware, Kids' Ketch, Kindle, King's Homemade Ice Cream, Lefty's Alley & Eats, Lewes Cycle Sports, Lewes Gifts, Lewes Gourmet, Midway Fitness & Racquetball, Nectar Cafe & Juice Bar, PUPS of Lewes, PUZZLES, R & L Liquors, Revelation Craft Brewing Company, Shorebreak, SoDel Concepts Restaurants, Striper Bites, The Brush Factory on Kings, The Buttery Restaurant, The Pig and Publican, The Station on Kings Cafe & Market, The Stepping Stone, Touch of Italy, Treasures, Twila Farrell, and Villa Sorrento.

The Lewes Public Library is an independent library and as such must raise approximately 45 percent of its annual operating funds every year.

Fundraisers, annual appeals, and endowment contributions all go toward keeping the doors open and offering the wonderful programs and services available to the Lewes community. Thank you to everyone for working with us to make this possible.
