Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary donates to Delaware Hospice

November 20, 2017

The Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club recently presented Delaware Hospice with a $1,000 donation to help the organization continue its work to foster dignity, peace and comfort during a person's final days. The state’s only nonprofit hospice, Delaware Hospice provides comfort and support to the entire family while their loved one is in its care. Longtime Rotarian and Delaware Hospice volunteer Jack Dawson nominated the organization for this award.

Rotary's mission is to make the greater Lewes community a better place to live, work, go to school and raise a family through service and fundraising projects. The club meets at 5:15 p.m. every Monday for dinner at Irish Eyes in Lewes. Community-spirited individuals are invited to attend.
