• A facility that will offer a place for members to gather and meet with friends
• More local, regional and national travel opportunities
• A wide range of fitness and exercise activities
• Classes and programs for health and longevity
• Group learning opportunities in painting, languages, cooking, home maintenance and more
• Fun social activities including billiards, bocce ball, cards and bingo
• Community service opportunities
• Group presentations, films of current interest.

"The center is undertaking this expansion in response to the rapid population growth of senior adults in the Cape Region, now and in years to come " said Andy Zampini, senior center board president.

"We expect to see an increased demand for programs and services focusing on healthy lifestyles," Zampini said. "We are working hard to make sure our facility and activities meet the needs of the wide range of senior adults in our service area."
