Lewes'iana Bayou Bash set at Lewes Library Nov. 4

The good times will roll from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, when a bit of the bayou comes to the Lewes Public Library in the form of the Lewes'iana Bayou Bash. This event includes a concert by Zydeco-a-Go-Go, dancing, dessert, beverages and party favors. The Friends of Lewes Public Library are hosting the bash, which will be held at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.

Tickets are just $40, and only 100 are being sold.

Zydeco-a-Go-Go is the Mid-Atlantic's premier Zydeco band. They play a spicy blend of funky New Orleans rhythm and blues, and vintage Louisiana rock ‘n’ roll that gets people up and dancing. Participants will enjoy pastries from Amy's Notting Hill Coffee, along with beer, white wine, soda and water. Those who wish to can take a chance on the 50/50 raffle or bid on a gift basket in the silent auction. Each guest will receive a colorful Mardi Gras mask, beads and a souvenir mason jar party favor.
