Lillian Vivian Wzorek, retired personnel director
Lillian Vivian Wzorek, 96, of Lewes, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Cadbury Senior Lifestyles in Lewes. She was born Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1921, in Elizabeth, N.J., daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Kukla.
Mrs. Wzorek worked as a personnel director of a large department store in New Jersey for most of her professional life. On Oct. 12, 1941, she married the love of her life, Anthony J. Wzorek in Elizabeth. They shared a lifetime of love and memories raising their family together. Mrs. Wzorek was a member of the Polish Women's Club. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching the NY Yankees with her husband, and taking care of her beloved dog, Buddy.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wzorek was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Wzorek Sr.; her brothers William and Edward Kukla; and a sister, Teresa Podstawski. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wzorek; her son, Anthony J. Wzorek Jr.; her daughters-in-law Carlyle Gill and Kathleen Loughlin; and her granddaughter, Katherine Wzorek.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, April 21, at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church in Colonia, N.J. Burial was at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, N.J.
