Little pirates take over Cannonball House

Taking advantage of a day off school Jan. 27, the Lewes Historical Society hosted two sessions of Pirates and Paintings at its Cannonball House Maritime Museum. Youngsters not only did arts and crafts and played games, but learned about a visit by the famous pirate Capt. Kidd, who may have buried a treasure in the sands of what is now Cape Henlopen State Park.
