Local author Frank Roberts re-releases ‘The Brick House: The Curse of Hope Island’

February 22, 2017

Frank Roberts, author of five books in the David Morgan Ghost Series, has re-released “The Brick House: The Curse of Hope Island.” The story draws its ghostly inspirations from places in and around the Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Slaughter Beach areas. In anticipation of the release of his follow-up novel, scheduled for this spring, Roberts has re-released the novel that sparked the many requests for more stories about the family of heroes that stars in all five of his published works.

“At this date I don’t want to give the name of my follow-up novel because it might be a spoiler to those who have not read ‘The Brick House: The Curse of Hope Island.’ My next book will follow the same successful pattern of love of family while introducing some new main characters and carrying familiar ones forward. In 2015 I took a short break from the David Morgan series and published volume one of ‘Ghostly Encounters: Ghosts In Our World,’ a collection of ghostly short stories that are both unique and quite different from what most of Hollywood has painted for us over the years. During that break, I must confess that I was not prepared for the deluge of requests to continue the David Morgan Ghost Series as quickly as possible. While I continued to pen and collect more short stories for a future release, I took the opportunity to communicate and consult with many of my readers that were big fans of David Morgan. I think my next release this spring will meet, and hopefully exceed, their expectations with a unique twist that I don’t believe has ever been tried before. While my next novel is a follow-up to ‘The Brick House: The Curse of Hope Island,’ it is also the introduction of a whole new series of ghostly tales with both new and old characters experiencing chilling situations in and around the Delmarva’s southern eastern shores.”

“The Brick House: The Curse of Hope Island” is available as a Kindle e-book through Amazon. For more information, go to www.frankroberts-author.com.
