After months of long days that ran into nights preparing the onetime Stamper horse stables with reclaimed wood, tin siding, and handbuilt and painted shelving, the Sussex County Habitat for Humanity ReStore-Lewes welcomed 750 people during a soft opening Jan. 28.
Hours during February are Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
MacKenzie-Childs tableware is on display in a glass case near the checkout register and will be auctioned Saturday, March 4, at the grand opening on Facebook. A grand opening celebration is set that day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 18501 Stamper Drive, Lewes. ReStore-Lewes will be open Tuesday through Saturday after the grand opening.
